Spirantix Concierge: how to talk with it
Written to be read aloud, and to copy and paste. It explains how to talk with the Concierge and what it can do.
You can talk instead of type
You do not have to type. Speak your question and it appears in the box. Then send it as usual. It offers a few clear choices, so you can say "the first one" or "number two".
On a phone or tablet: tap the microphone on your keyboard, speak normally, then send. On a computer: click where you type, press the Windows key and the H key together, speak, then press them together again to stop. On a Mac, press the microphone key or the dictation key.
If it does not work, ask: "How do I talk instead of type?" The concierge walks you through it on the device you are using.
What it is
One assistant in a chat. It remembers your people, dates, stories, reminders, photos, and belongings, and answers your questions about them.
There is only one assistant. You never choose who you are talking to.
How to start
- Open the link you were given. It opens a chat.
- Say hello, then ask in your own words.
- If you are not sure where to begin, tap one of the four buttons, or simply say what you need.
You do not need to learn any special words. Ask the way you would ask a friend.
The four doors
Four buttons, four doors. Each one starts you in the right place.
Remember: people, places, dates, events Ask about something it already knows: a person, a day, a trip, a reminder, an item. It answers only from what you told it, and says when it does not know.
Capture: stories, reminders, events, items, documents Give it something new to keep: a story, a reminder, a belonging, a calendar event. To add a document, a receipt, or a picture, it opens the Spirantix page and walks you through it.
Photos: images, albums, stories Work with your photos: show a picture, make an album, add a caption, record who is in it. It keeps names, captions, and small previews. Your full pictures stay in your own library.
A seal is a small mark on a file showing it has not changed since it was kept. You can ask whether a seal is good. Making one comes later, in the app, and the Concierge never promises a sealed copy in the chat.
Update: reminders, appointments, times Use this door when something changed. Mark a reminder done, remove one, change a time, or change or cancel an appointment. Before it changes anything it says the exact item, day, and time back to you, waits for your yes, then reads it back.
Prompts you can say, grouped by door

Things you do with a sentence, not a button
Ask about a seal. Say: "Is my seal still good?" The concierge tells you what is recorded about the seal on an item, in plain words. Making a seal happens in the app, later.
Add a person who can help you. A helper is a family member or caregiver you choose. Permission to add calendar events does not by itself allow that person to view your calendar. You can separately allow the helper to view your full daily event calendar. You can remove access at any time.
Hear any answer read aloud. Every answer can be spoken. If your device has voice turned on, the answer is read to you. If you want to hear it again, ask: "Read that to me."
What it will not do
- It gives no medical or legal advice. It asks you to speak with a doctor or a lawyer.
- It does not recognize faces in this release. It cannot tell who someone is from a picture. It uses only the names and notes you have already given it.
- It cannot start a conversation on its own. It waits for you to speak first.
- It cannot record audio inside the chat. You record a voice story on the Spirantix page, and it helps you attach it.
- It does not make a seal in this release. You can ask about a seal; making one comes in the app.
When it does not know
It says "I don't know" in plain words, tells you what it can do instead, and offers the next step. It never guesses.
The phases
Phase 1, the ChatGPT plugin. You talk with the Concierge in ChatGPT, with Spirantix pages for people, photos, albums, voice stories, reminders, and items. No sealing yet.
Phase 2, the Claude plugin. Same Concierge, same records, reached from Claude.
Phase 3, the app. The app becomes the main place to use Spirantix, on a tablet or phone. It adds read-aloud screen by screen, the community sponsor role, paid storage, read-only library sharing, and sealing a document. Sponsor access is separate from helper access: a connected senior living community may add events for its members, but must not view their calendars.
